Eurofedop (European Federation of employees in public services) was founded in 1966.

In cooperation with EZA, Eurofedop brings each year its members together on a different location in Europe, to discuss the problems relevant for the public service sector in Europe.

The principal aim of Eurofedop is to promote co-operation between public service trade unions throughout Europe and represent the interests of employees in the public service to the European Union. For Eurofedop, it is very important to maintain constant contact with politicians at both the European and national levels in order to best implement our demands and ideas.

In order to increase co-operation between our members, different trade councils have been created. The task of the Trade Councils consists mainly in providing mutual information, adopt resolutions on issues regarding their sector and to inform and advise the Executive Committee of Eurofedop.
