EUROFEDOP congratulates the SindFISC trade union on its tenth anniversary!

From crisis to opportunity - together for stability

Numerous high-ranking guests congratulated the Romanian finance sector trade union SindFISC on its 10th anniversary.

Dr Norbert Schnedl, President of EUROFEDOP, emphasised in his welcoming address that the excellent cooperation between SindFISC and EUROFEDOP forms an important basis for improving the working conditions of our colleagues in the public sector.

Professor Viorel Rotila, Vice-President of EUROFEDOP, emphasised in his speech that negotiations are at the heart of social dialogue and that mere information provided by the employer is insufficient.

Norbert Schnedl and Viorel Rotila warmly congratulated the President of SindFISC, Nicolae-Liviu Toader, on the 10th anniversary.

Ten years of SindFISC have been marked by groundwork, dedication, perseverance and solidarity. SindFISC has demonstrated that trade union work means taking responsibility: responsibility for our colleagues, for fair working conditions and for a strong public service.

This responsibility is particularly evident in the finance sector. Colleagues there make an indispensable contribution to the functioning of the state. They secure public revenue and help ensure that the state remains capable of acting.

This is no trivial matter. It is a key prerequisite for ensuring that public services can be funded and that trust in the state is maintained.
